There is a reason for everything. Wars begin for a reason, economies decline for a reason, and when you ask your spouse what’s wrong and they reply “oh, nothing”, there’s always a reason.
I have a reason for re-writing Star Wars Episode One. Actually, I have more than one…a LOT more than one. Most fans agree that the movie failed them on many levels. Midichlorians, a poorly done Yoda, bad acting/writing, a wretched plot, and a cartoon rabbit ruined what should have been a memorable moment for all of us.
So one day, I sit down with my younger brother and we’re talking about just why the movie was such a disgrace to a franchise that inspired a generation of people across the entire planet. My wife walks by and says “This is all you guys talk about…if the movie was so bad, what would YOU have done to make it better?!?”
So one day, I sit down in front of the keyboard. What you read below is the result. I am releasing the book one chapter at a time so most of the masses don’t get overwhelmed by a 75,000 novel. As a bonus, the prologue is included in the first chapter. Enjoy!
